We are currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our Scrum team and contribute to the development of groundbreaking solutions for one of the top mortgage companies in the U.S. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our back-end services and automation processes. You will collaborate closely with a team of engineers and QA specialists to implement best practices in quality assurance and develop automated testing frameworks from scratch. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated tests for APIs using tools like Postman or equivalent. Conduct both manual and automated testing for APIs to ensure robust functionality and performance. Collaborate with back-end developers to understand the system architecture and testing requirements. Work in a Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Engage in knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior QA team members. Must-Have Qualifications: Strong proficiency in English (both written and verbal). Experience with Spring Boot API framework. Solid understanding of AWS Cloud services. Proficiency in PostgreSQL databases. Proven experience in API testing, both manual and automated. Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Familiarity with SQL. Knowledge of front-end technologies, particularly React.
