About the Role As a Supplier Quality Engineer Lead, you will hold full end-to-end ownership of your portfolio. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in selecting the most suitable suppliers for sourcing awards and ensuring a quality-assured project launch. Beyond project initiation, you will maintain a proactive relationship with suppliers to drive continuous improvement and uphold a zero-defect mindset. Key Responsibilities Sourcing Stage : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select suppliers, ensuring alignment with quality expectations and risk management protocols. Project Phase : Lead initiatives such as RTS (Review of Technical Specification), APQP, and PPAP to secure seamless project launches. Serial Production : Monitor and challenge supplier performance, driving continuous improvement and maintaining adherence to the client's quality standards. Conduct audits at supplier locations and ensure compliance with agreed standards. Build and maintain a robust network of partners, including suppliers, buyers, engineers, production teams, project stakeholders, and the warranty department. What We Are Looking For Experience : 8 years in Supplier Quality Engineering or a related field, preferably within the automotive sector. Technical Expertise : Hands-on experience with tools like APQP, PPAP, and conducting various types of supplier audits. Leadership Skills : Ability to take charge in supplier locations, production plants, and office environments, driving results aligned with organizational goals. International exposure and ability to work with multicultural teams is appreciated. Risk Management : Strong capability to manage and mitigate risks during sourcing, project execution, and running production phases. Collaboration : A team player with a proven ability to build and nurture partnerships across diverse stakeholders. Flexibility : Willingness to travel to supplier locations, production facilities, and offices of the client, in France and abroad.
