As a Network Engineer, you are involved in all aspects of a project. And that is exactly what makes it fun and provides satisfaction. Responsibilities You think about the issues behind the questions; You advise customers on the best and most economically advantageous solution; Which you then implement and maintain together with your colleagues; You analyze bottlenecks or disruptions within networks and draw up a plan for solving them; You maintain and develop your knowledge level based on Microsoft or Cisco and ensure knowledge sharing with your colleagues. What do you bring Minimum completed education at HBO level; You possess a completed (or more advanced) Cisco certification (at least CCNA and/or CCDA) and have the ambition to reach the level of CCNP and possibly even CCIE; You have extensive knowledge of and experience with various technologies such as routing & switching, firewalling, wireless LAN, data center & cloud, unified communications, collaboration & telepresence, trading floor telephony, command & control systems (critical communications), voice recording, and high availability/disaster recovery; You have at least one, but preferably several, specializations in the above areas; You have experience with network and content security; You have good communication and advisory skills and a very good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbal and written; You possess a driving license B.
