Stage - ML Engineer

Alex helps businesses manage their legal work thanks to a SaaS platform that leverages government open data. Created in March 2020, Alex is a bootstrapped startup previously incubated at Agoranov, as well as a French Tech Tremplin laureate. Founding team: Killian Huyghe - CTO - (ex Apple) What we're looking for Alex is seeking a passionate individual to help build the all-in-one legal platform for businesses. You'll work with our Head of ML and software engineers to create state of the art legal models with an emphasis on the final product and user experience. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, extremely motivated, and ready to grow in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Work on exciting new Machine Learning technology Work with the legal team to automate legal processes Participate in code reviews, test your code and investigate bugs Report directly to the Head of ML Bonus: Build prototypes for experimental features and UI Qualifications Ability to deal with complex projects and tackle technical challenges Basic understanding of most software engineering concepts: data structures, databases, complexity, algorithm,… Basic understanding of Machine Learning techniques and pipelines Good experience with Python Experience with PyTorch, Huggingface is a plus Our stack Python PyTorch - Huggingface ClearML AWS Sagemaker Additional Information Opportunity to learn and grow from an experienced team while making an impact on the company's future Offices in downtown Paris Possible hybrid remote Modern and evolving development stack Possibility to open-source some of your work Possibility to be hired full-time after the internship Include the role's title in your subject line.
