Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design and analysis of building structures using traditional materials (concrete, steel, timber, etc.). Collaborate with senior engineers to develop structural designs that meet client requirements and relevant codes and standards. Attend client meetings, providing technical expertise and clear communication on project progress and challenges. Support in structural inspections and investigations to assess the condition of existing structures (knowledge of this area is an advantage). Essential Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 2 years' UK experience in a building structures team within an engineering consultancy. Strong knowledge of structural design across all traditional materials. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent. Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., Tekla, Revit, or similar).
