Job Title: Senior Engineer Location: Manchester Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 About the Client: Our client, based in Manchester, is a dynamic and rapidly expanding infrastructure team responsible for delivering major development sites, ranging from 50 units to several thousand dwellings. With a current team of three, they have exciting plans to double in size in the new year, providing ample opportunities for career growth. Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Senior Engineer to join our client's infrastructure team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a design-focused background who can work independently on small project elements, while engaging with clients and supporting the team's growth. This position will allow you to focus on the design and technical aspects of high-value infrastructure projects in highways, drainage, and land development. Key Responsibilities: Focus on design aspects across a variety of infrastructure projects Engage with clients and build strong professional relationships Manage small portions of projects independently while providing support to senior colleagues Conduct flood risk assessments and prepare planning applications Oversee and contribute to high-quality deliverables within the specified timeframes Software Experience Required: Microdrainage (business is moving towards PDS Flow) AutoCAD Civils3D Site3DQualifications & Experience: Proven experience in a similar senior engineering role, focusing on design and infrastructure projects Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience in drainage, highways, and land development Client-facing experience with a proactive and professional attitude Ability to work independently on aspects of projects and assist with their overall delivery Chartership is not essential, but experience and competence in the engineering field is necessaryWhat Is On Offer: £45,000 - £55,000 25 days annual leave Tax-free bonus (paid twice per year) A collaborative and supportive working environment Chance to work on exciting, high-profile projects If you are looking for a Senior Engineer role that offers both technical challenges and client interaction, with the opportunity to grow within a fast-expanding infrastructure team, apply today
