Freelance Senior Engineer Leeds Start: February 2025 Duration: 30 months My Client are a Tier Construction Contractor seeking a seasoned Senior Engineer with extensive experience in RC frame high-rise developments? I am looking for a highly skilled professional to join our client’s team on a landmark multi-block apartment scheme. THE ROLE: As the Freelance Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of engineering works across this high-rise residential project. You’ll collaborate with the Site and Project Managers to oversee technical elements, resolve engineering challenges, and maintain adherence to project specifications and timelines. DUTIES: • Oversee all engineering aspects of the multi-block, RC frame apartment scheme. • Ensure accurate setting out for structural and architectural components. • Manage and monitor technical and quality standards across the site. • Coordinate with subcontractors to resolve design and construction challenges. • Prepare and maintain detailed site records, reports, and technical documentation. • Contribute to health and safety planning and compliance on-site. • Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and stakeholders. REQUIREMENT: • Extensive experience as a Senior Engineer on RC frame high-rise residential projects. • Strong technical knowledge of RC frame construction methods and practices. • Proficient in setting out using Total Station and GPS systems. • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification. • SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications (mandatory). • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
