Junior Draughtsman

Requirements: Must-Haves: Matric with Technical Drawings as a subject. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with Measuring Equipment such as Tape Measures and Verniers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desired but not required:  Experience working within a drawing office Advantageous: Diploma or BTech in Mechanical Engineering. SolidWorks experience, particularly in Sheet Metal & Weldments. Responsibilities: Interpret various technical drawings and convert them into SolidWorks packages. Schedule assignments and communicate relevant details to the CAD department team. Actively participate in all production meetings. Create and generate complex drawings in SolidWorks, ensuring they meet required specifications. Conduct follow-up checks on completed drawings for accuracy. Develop Data Packages and cutting files. Understand and adhere to bending, laser cutting, machining, and welding procedures. Utilize all necessary measuring tools to ensure precision. Liaise with the quality department to ensure all drawings meet quality standards. Identify components and make necessary adjustments to drawings as required by other departments.
