We are currently looking for a Service and Installation Technician (M/F), on a permanent contract, to join our Ottobock Equipment team. Job Description Under the responsibility of the OBE, MASC-P&E Team Manager, as Service and Installation Technician, you are responsible for installing, thoroughly testing, commissioning, and technically delivering (orthopedic) workshops. You are also available for on-site maintenance and troubleshooting. Additionally, you support your colleagues with technical issues. on the whole France territory. You will also be able to travel internationally. Your missions include: Important performance-indicators / Key performance indicators - Independently install and commission machines and (orthopedic) workshops - Able to make customer-specific adjustments on-site - Perform machine repairs and maintenance work - Provide technical support to fellow technicians and customers Tasks and responsibilities - Installing, commissioning, and delivering (orthopedic) workshops technically according to the delivery protocol. Customer-specific modifications are made on-site if required. - Providing explanations to the customer regarding the installed equipment - Ability to act as a project leader during machine repairs and workshop installations - Primary contact point for the customer during a visit - Detecting sales signals and/or technical improvement opportunities for products - Performing repairs and maintenance tasks - Supporting fellow service technicians and internal departments - Independently driving service routes - Accurately handling daily administration such as service orders, work order registration, project administration, project tickets, and recording hours spent - Main contact for technical inquiries from the service administration and customers Your profile Education and Experience: - Relevante work experience - MBO diploma (middle technical) - Proficient in spoken and written French and English. German is a plus - Extensive knowledge of air- and vacuum technology, as well as mechanical, pneumatic and electrical expertise. - Driver’s licence B (car / van) Personal Competencies - Solution-oriented, proactive - Ability to improvise, flexible - Strong communication skills - Independent and a team player - Knowledge of products and market - Accurate - Service- en customer-oriented - Technical aptitude Working conditions - Advantages: Restaurant vouchers, employee savings, CSE, 13th month and variable bonus. - Type of employment: Permanent contract, 218-day flat-rate executive - Salary: 50 k€ 10k€ variable on objectives - Location of the position based in France.
