Si vous êtes prêt à faire partie de cette aventure passionnante, rejoignez-nous chez Cooper Consumer Health et ensemble, permettons des vies plus saines The Cooper Consumer Health (CCH) Group is a leading player in the Over-The-Counter (OTC) & Consumer Health market and is seeking an experienced “Group Buyer - Contract Manufacturing” to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of finished goods from subcontractors/CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations) required for our operations across the Group, negotiating with vendors and suppliers, and ensuring that all procurement processes comply with our company's policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the OTC & Consumer Health market, demonstrate excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a proven track record of successfully managing Contract Manufacturing procurement activities within a matrix environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Scope of Responsibility: Manage a 30m EUR spend at Group level (mainly Europe) for consumer health products sourced from Contract Manufacturing Operations (CMOs). Products types: medical devices, food supplements, OTC, biocides, cosmetics Categories strategies : Develop and implement CMOs procurement strategies that align with the company's OTC/HC market goals and objectives. Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify new potential suppliers Cost Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement in procurement activities. Run tenders, build cost breakdowns and negotiate contracts. Drive synergies across both categories/suppliers and geographies with the ultimate objective to provide a competitive advantage to CCH and drive EBIDTA improvements. Suppliers Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, delivery and cost expectations. Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage potential risks in the supply chain, including supplier vulnerabilities, market fluctuations and other factors that can impact supply security. Supplier Service Optimization: Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers in case of a supplier service issue and develop and implement mitigation strategies to prevent reoccurrence. Ensure goods and services are delivered on time, at the agreed-upon price, and to the required quality standards. Budget and PPV: Make recommendations for Budget process and understand and analyze in detail the PPV of the categories and be able to explain and present the PPV results. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Compliance: Ensure that all procurement processes comply with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations EXPERIENCE PROFILE: 4 years of experience in procurement within the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries. Experience in international and multicultural environments You must have experience in managing purchase orders with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and overseeing a broad network of 30 suppliers. Knowledge of the OTC & Consumer Health market, ideally with experience in tablets, sprays, medical devices, or liquid products is a plus. Proven track record in managing procurement activities ideally for medical devices and liquids, including sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods is a plus. Master’s degree level, ideally in Engineering or Business Administration and a specialization in Procurement Management or related field Fluency in English and French is required COMPETENCIES: Good negotiation skills and the ability to drive cost-effective deals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Hands-on approach with a high level of ownership and accountability. Self-organized, result oriented, can-do attitude, ambitious, humble and able to work independently. Strong analytical, detail-oriented and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement procurement strategies. Knowledge of relevant laws, compliance and regulations for OTC procurement Additional information The role is based in Paris (16th arrondissement), with a 3-day office presence in Paris, 1 day in Melun, and 1 day remote. This is a permanent contract offering stability and growth within the company.
