Strategic Credit Risk Officer - Paris

Key Responsibilities: Monitor the credit quality, concentration risk, and ESG considerations of a diversified corporate-heavy portfolio, aligning with risk appetite and regulatory frameworks. Review and assess transactions approved by other departments from a strategic risk perspective, with the ability to veto if necessary. Advise on credit risk metrics, ensure adherence to EU/ECB regulations, and enhance risk policies and procedures. Link portfolio risks to broader economic, sectoral, and geopolitical trends, ensuring a forward-looking approach. Draft clear, insightful reports and presentations for local and regional governance committees. ​ Experience & Expertise: Solid background in corporate credit risk, with experience in portfolio monitoring. Familiarity with corporate banking products, including syndications, trade finance, and underwriting.
