Head of Studio

Head of Studio An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Head of Studio to ensure the smooth operation of the Studio and oversee the end-to-end process of all collections. The role involves establishing an organized structure and critical path to coordinate, communicate, and act within the Studio to manage collections and deliverables effectively. Close collaboration with design, atelier, product development, production, and merchandising teams will be essential to ensure calendars are managed and maintained for successful outcomes. Based in Paris you will be part of a dynamic and strong team. Responsibilities : Organise and run the studio leading the Studio Assistants and overseeing the day-to-day operations (showroom activities, including fittings, lookbook shoots, samples management, shipments, and press loans ….), ensuring smooth and efficient workflows Define and supervise the calendar and critical path of the collections, across all categories ensuring the achievement of the deliverables on time through a clear and on-going communication to all participants Keep track, communicate and action changes resulting from all meetings with the Creative Director, Design team, Atelier, Development, Production Anticipate potential risks, alert the business in a timely fashion and design and agree risk mitigation actions to solve problems Partner with the Designers, the Heads of fabric development, development, merchandising and production and all the stakeholders to ensure the collection is passed into production on time and on budget Coordinating activities during Fashion Show, liaising with different stakeholders from the company (product team, merchandising, logistic team, external suppliers) making sure budget and timing are in line and guaranteeing a successful outcome. Managing studio budget for each project, along with financial tracking and controls Key Requirements: Project management skills (organization, multi-skilling ,…) Proactivity, flexibility, creativity, ability to remain calm and professional in a fast paced, high-pressure environment, result orientation matched with diplomacy and sensitivity Previous experience working in a luxury design studio and full understanding of the design, development and production process Strong communication skills and fluency in English and French (Italian is a plus) Strong commercial acumen with understanding of cost and budget management Microsoft office skills: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel In TOM FORD you will have the opportunity to work in a company in the Luxury sector with an international reach, you will find a collaborative work environment aimed at continuous improvement in which the attitude towards teamwork takes on a central role.
