ABOUT THE JOB We’re looking for a Store Director ( full-time temporary contract (CDD) during 9 months ) for our Paris Saint Honoré store and who will report to our Retail Manager . The Store Director is of paramount importance to reach the business goals assigned to the store. He / she is a professional in the beauty / fashion industry and a Sales expert who has the ability to live the local environment by promoting brand loyalty to customers in the high end/luxury sector and in particular to the local clients. He/she represents the Company and is a proactive Sales professional who operates according to the policies set by the Headquarters and aimed at recruiting and managing the Store Team and ensuring that the Store is efficiently run. WHAT YOU WILL DO Sales Is constantly up-to-date regarding market trends, is point of reference for both Clients and colleagues. Knows and monitors the Beauty, Fashion and Arts world at national and international level. Informs his superior and corporate departments about any relevant information concerning the Market. Reflects the corporate image in terms of standing and ensures that the Staff is also aligned. Guarantees excellent customer welcome and supervises sales to ensure customer satisfaction and that the qualitative standards required by the brand are maintained. Guarantees efficient management and problem solving for all sensitive cases and for any claims which may happen during the Sales process. Supervises all clienteling activities by monitoring task completion and quality of outreach to proactively drive store traffic and client loyalty. Public Relations Collects all relevant information useful for a better market knowledge (i.e.: info on local hotels, clubs, celebrities and habits) in cooperation with the local marketing teams Collaborates with Marketing Department to organise local events. Scouts Corporate Clients, where applicable, and sets up collaborations by following Corporate guidelines. Store Staff Supports his Line Manager and the People Team in the Store Staff scouting and selection process. Creates a work team coordinating its activities in order to make sure that team members are always engaged and well equipped to perform their tasks . Walk the talk and act as a role model for the teams, relying on t his/her knowledge of Corporate values and guidelines and by showing a significant commitment to the Company,. Ensures professional growth and training of the staff, by constantly stimulating them to be up-to-date in the Fashion & beauty industry. Facilitates the solution of conflicts within the Store Team. Defines targeted quantitative and qualitative objectives and ensures they are achieved by analyzing results, verifying monthly activities and setting up yearly assessments. Keeps staff informed at all times regarding Store performance through the necessary tools. Makes sure that internal procedures are complied with. Deals with administration and accounting responsibilities. Ensures enforcement of labour laws and sales regulations with the support of the Headquarters or local support structure. Applies all the necessary measures to ensure the safety of both teams and customers. Product Knows market trends and main competitors. Has a full knowledge of merchandise in all the product’s categories. Proactively plans and organizes product launches according to the merchandising calendar Visual Set-Up Ensures that the Store windows are always in good order and prepares product display strictly complying with the Company directions. Ensures that the Store image and product care are in line with corporate standards and that the Staff is aware of this standard. Stockroom Monitors stocks, making sure that they are in line with the Store’s sales potential Optimises stockroom management in order to make sure that stocks are stored as efficiently as possible in terms of sales, in line with the corporate guidelines. Takes any measures to guarantee the care of all valuable products and materials in the store. Supervises and controls all activities connected with year-end, sector and rotation stock takes by product category. He/she is responsible for the relevant Store’s results. Procedures Conveys corporate policies and ensures their correct enforcement. Makes sure that the store surface is correctly covered and monitored in order to prevent possible thefts and losses. Liaises with the Line Manager to report and manage any loss (thefts of products, money, etc.). Makes sure that security procedures are correctly applied (management of store keys, procedures connected with the management of the store safe, etc.) Reporting He/she is capable to produce and analyse the main reports on Sales, product, staff performance, CRM and stockroom by using the respective corporate tools Provides the headquarter and local team with the store’s Weekly and Monthly Report. WHAT WE EXPECT YOU TO BRING TO BYREDO Is passionate about and has gained a significant experience in one of the leading fragrance, beauty or luxury brands, with a minimum experience of five years in a managerial role Sales driven with a client-centric approach and highly sensitive to the client experience and loyalty A host and business owner with strong ambition to achieve set quantitative and qualitative objectives Excellent interpersonal skills, persuasiveness A mentor for his / her team members Precision, organizational skills Highly flexible yet responsive Good analytical and computer skills In perfect command of English aside the local language OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU We will onboard you in our innovative community journey.
