Whether you are coming from a technical or creative background, we’d like to hear from you to help you develop your skills and potentially help build your career with Salesforce About the team: The Search Frontend Service is responsible for delivering a seamless and engaging user experience for Salesforce CRM’s search engine; proudly serving millions of users every month. Our service is composed of multiple teams, each focusing on different aspects of search UI/UX and of the APIs that make searching within the platform fast, intuitive, and efficient. We thrive on innovation and collaboration, constantly pushing the boundaries to enhance the CRM experience and deliver a search solution that exceeds user expectations. What you will be doing: As a Salesforce Search Frontend Intern, you will join a SCRUM team of 5-6 professionals who use agile methodologies daily. You will work in an environment that values quality processes, teamwork, and continuous learning, with exposure to practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Pair Programming, or Mob Programming. Your primary objective during this internship will be to contribute to reinventing the CRM’s Search experience by utilizing Generative AI technologies. This will enable the application to present search results that are not only more contextual but also personalized and dynamic, providing users with tailored responses based on their unique needs and behavior within the CRM. If you have an interest in Human-Machine Interaction, this role offers a chance to explore how users interact with search interfaces, helping design solutions that make the search experience more intuitive, engaging, and responsive to human input. Through this internship, you will have the opportunity to push the boundaries of traditional Search User eXperience (UX), exploring how AI can transform the search UX from a static process into an intelligent, responsive tool. You’ll play a key role in making search smarter, faster, and more efficient. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Strong programming skills, particularly in Java and/or Kotlin Knowledge of JavaScript /HTML / CSS Experience with web services integration through REST (is a plus) Ability to learn quickly in fast-paced, dynamic environments A team player with strong oral and written communication skills Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
