WHO ARE WE? Our Company : We are a French Small Enterprise, founded in 1995, which business is centered around the production and the trading of compounds labeled with stable isotopes, mostly used for applications in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Mass Spectrometry (MS). Over the past 10 years, high-value markets in Electronics, Pharmaceutics and Energy have emerged, for which, thanks to constant innovation associated with massive investments in R&D, we have developed products and solutions. These include home-made flow chemistry manufacturing prototypes capable of competitively producing up to 10 tons / year of chemical compounds. The pipe of products and solutions coming from R&D is growing and now need to be industrialized, the process fully automatized and taken to the production step. In this boost context, we are looking to welcome our Head of Industrialization. The Context: As a Head of Industrialization, you will play a key role in scaling up chemical processes from laboratory research to full-scale production (from 10 - 100 grams to 100 kg - 10-tons scale). You will manage a team of engineers (5 people) and will oversee developing and optimizing chemical manufacturing processes, ensuring that they stand in a full automated skids, meeting efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and of course stringent quality and safety standards. A couple of mature projects have recently entered in the industrialization step, therefore you will join the company at the perfect timing to take them over and complete the full transfer to production. You will also team up with our R&D team to optimize and develop the new projects that will emerge in 2025. Your pivotal job plays a key role in bridging up R&D and production. Your Missions: Hire and Manage: Highly skilled team of engineers (5 people) Process Development: Develop and optimize chemical processes for new and existing products, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality. Scaling-Up to Production: Manage the transition of products from R&D to prototype to production, including the design, testing and implementation of production systems. Team up with R&D and Production Technology Integration : Automation, Flow Chemistry, Modelling, Chemical Engineering are our core technologies. Quality Control & Safety: Work with Quality Assurance and Safety teams to develop and implement Safety, QA and QC procedures You report directly to the CEO WHO ARE YOU? YOUR PROFILE You graduated from a Top Engineering School (X, Mines, Centrale, etc…) or equivalent. You are an expert in at least one of the following : Automation, Continuous Flow Chemistry processes, Chemical Engineering, Packing and Rectification, Design and Draw P&ID Proven track record of successfully transitioning from R&D to full-scale production in the chemical kilo lab industry YOUR PERSONNALITY Entrepreneurial mindset : you are not afraid of taking responsibility and getting your hands dirty to solve problems. You are ready to grow and create your team of chemists along with the growth of the company. Creative and critical thinking: you like innovation and you know how to deal with unforeseen situations and can mobilize the skills adapted to these challenges. Project Management: Ability to manage technical projects, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management. Strong organizational skills to ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
