Process Engineer/MANUFACTURING (Engineered Materials for Electronics & Telecoms) (CANDIDATES FOR THIS ROLE MUST BE EITHER BASED WITHIN COMMUTING DISTANCE OF MARLOW / HIGH WYCOMBE / MAIDENHEAD ALREADY, OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE AT SHORT NOTICE) A new vacancy for an experienced Process Engineer with small UK division of global Manufacturer or high-performance Engineered Materials used for a wide range of Electronics, Electrical and Telecoms applications. Based at the company's Manufacturing facility in Buckinghamshire, the Process Engineer will play a lead role in the development of innovative solutions to complex Engineering & Manufacturing problems, applying Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies to enhance the systems and procedures adopted/used on site. Key responsibilities will include: Design and prepare concept drawings of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering and manufacturing production problems through identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes and engineering procedures Responsible for maximising cost effectiveness and reliability towards manufacturing flow, processes and equipment. Refine and enhance processes by applying continuous improvement and key lean manufacturing production principles and techniques; recommend product changes/improvements to Product Engineers Ideal candidate profile : An individual with strong practical experience in process engineering and manufacturing engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment. Someone with strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to utilise automated measuring tools, and strong understanding of automated manufacturing equipment control plans Bachelor's Degree in related engineering field, with relevant experience Capability and willingness to work 'hands-on' on projects without supervision Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, project management, FMEAs and quality systems Working knowledge of APAQP control plans and PPAP validation plans What would be on offer: Solid employer present on the market for over 100 years.
