Job Title: Contract Manager (Technical Background Preferred) Location: Nottingham (Single Site, Commutable Distance Required) Permanent role: Full time, 1 in 4 weekend coverage for operational needs Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role: We’re seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee a dynamic single-site operation in Nottingham. You’ll lead small skilled team of technical personnel to deliver exceptional building services. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong manager with technical expertise who thrives in a leadership role and is looking for career progression into a Duty Manager position in the future. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of engineers and tradespeople. Operational Oversight: Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. Technical Expertise: Provide support and guidance, leveraging your technical knowledge (ideally electrical). Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with staff, clients, and stakeholders. Problem Solving: Proactively address operational challenges to ensure service delivery excellence. What We’re Looking For: Proven managerial experience, with a track record of successfully leading teams. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships and communicate effectively at all levels. A solid technical background, preferably in electrical engineering or building services. A proactive and results-driven approach to operational and team challenges.
