Senior Legal Counsel — Technology Company & Top Employer

My client is a well-known global Technology company looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel in Paris. We are looking for someone who is: Fluent in both English and French (if you speak other languages, this would be an advantage) Has around 7-9 years of experience as a commercial lawyer in the Tech sector Has ideally worked in a law firm even if just for a year Would like to build their career in a reputable and ethical Tech company — Company & Culture A well known Tech company with people centric culture. It is also essentially a Legal Lead for France — you will be part of the Leadership team in France. Essentially it is a commercial lawyer role with some generalist work. You can also specialise in other legal areas that are of interest to you: the team values subject matter experts. — Responsibilities Strategic role as part of the Leadership Team working closely with the sales teams Drafting and negotiating agreements (eg. sales agreements, pricing letters, non-disclosure agreements, software licensing cloud agreements, software-as-a-service agreements, IP and DP agreements and services agreements) in line with the company's business strategy, policies and practices Responding to RFP/RFI/RFQs Helping structure sales transactions/agreements following legal risk assessment Consistently applying the company's legal and business policies and practices to maintain the highest standards of corporate governance Engaging in cross-functional projects as a legal subject-matter expert Developing and delivering legal training Coaching 2 junior legal team members — Requirements A commercial Tech lawyer fluent in both French and English (negotiations and contract drafting level) Ideally with some experience at a law firm or a large Tech company You can come from a law firm or already have experience in-house Eligible to work in France () and based in Paris (or relocating to Paris).
