This role requires a strong commitment to best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and design principles. You will lead the development of high-quality applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. What you will do : - Develop and maintain responsive front-end applications using React.js and Material-UI (MUI), following industry best practices. - Collaborate with back-end teams to design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with Node.js services. - Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Create reusable UI components with MUI to maintain consistency and improve development efficiency across projects. - Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility. - Implement robust state management solutions using libraries such as Redux or Context API. - Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code reliability, using tools like Jest and React Testing Library. - Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks, advocating for best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization. - Document application architecture, APIs, and design decisions to support team collaboration and onboarding. - Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. What we are looking for : - 8 years of experience in front-end development, with a minimum of 3 years working with React.js and Material-UI (MUI). - Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS methodologies (e.g., CSS Modules, Styled Components). - Strong experience integrating with Node.js backend services, including knowledge of Express.js and API design principles. - Expertise in building component libraries and design systems using Material-UI. - Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization techniques. - Familiarity with state management solutions (Redux, MobX) and best practices for data handling in React. - Experience with version control systems (Git) and familiarity with CI/CD practices for automated deployments. - Knowledge of best practices in software development, including design patterns, code quality metrics, and software testing methodologies. - Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to mentor and guide junior developers. - Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. - Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and best practices. Nice to have : - Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). - Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment strategies for front-end applications. - Experience working with carbone and jsonata scripting languages. - Strong understanding of SAFe Agile methodology. - Experience in working in the insurance industry.
