Job Description
Key Requirements and Skills: Matric Tertiary education in sales advantageous Own transport 5 years of experience working in a sales driven environment. Experience working in ICT/Telecoms industry Networking Effective Communication Results Orientation Learning Agility Digital Fluency Customer Centricity and business development Up selling and cross selling Key Responsibilities: Presenting Solutions: Quickly learn and understand the technical aspects of products to effectively present them to end users in a way that aligns with their business needs and strategic goals. Build robust, data backed selling stories and value propositions to support all proposals. Influencing Specifications: Engage with clients to ensure the inclusion of the companys products into their technical specifications, contributing to long-term adoption and integration. Strategic Engagement: Build relationships with key decision-makers, including executives, to showcase the value and benefits of the solutions offered. Business Development: Actively seek new opportunities, generate leads, and contribute to business growth Demonstrate an innovative approach to adding value to customers and closing deals Own and exceed revenue targets including accurately forecasting of sales Organised and good with pipeline reporting and management Develop customer development and account plans and make them a reality Collaboration and Adaptability: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, product development, technical and marketing to align solutions with customer needs and business goals Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitors, and use this information to quickly enhance knowledge and present relevant, innovative solutions to clients Administration: Prepare and maintain detailed records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions. Generate and analyse reports on account activity, performance. Document key customer information, including feedback, contracts, and communication logs. Organise and schedule regular account reviews, check-ins, and follow-up meetings. Assist in the preparation of internal reports or presentations related to clients.
