Principal Electrical Engineer

With a focus on temperature control and data acquisition our client offers innovative solutions to the Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Healthcare organisations globally. A bit about the role: Our client is looking to hire a dedicated and results-oriented individual to work alongside their team as a Principal Electrical Engineer. In this pivotal role, you will deal with the client’s customers at the feasibility and bid stage to build technical credible demand for products. Your primary responsibilities will be to address the end users on deeper and more technical power systems. The successful candidate will be participating in review/HAZOP studies with customers to finalise power system designs. The Principal Electrical Engineer will be expected to conduct visits to installation sites to support the team with the integration and commissioning aspects. What’s required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such Electrical Engineering. Master's degree is an advantage. Proven experience with working with Medium Voltage. The successful Principal Electrical Engineering should showcase their knowledge and experience in technical areas such as: Power Systems (i.e Megawatt-scale 3-Phase power distribution) Ability to technical guide customers on safety systems, harmonics – such as IEC & UL etc. The successful Principal Electrical Engineer must be willing to travel a couple of days per month on client visits. It would be desired if the candidate would have experience withing PLC’s, temperature and Safety Controllers and IT Communication devise and protocols.
