Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior SharePoint Technical Specialist to manage and enhance our Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and collaboration systems. The ideal candidate will design, develop, implement, and maintain SharePoint-based solutions while ensuring alignment with business needs and IT strategies. Key Responsibilities Core Tasks Manage and optimize web-based ECM and collaboration resources for staff and stakeholders. Design and maintain SharePoint site collections, including navigation, custom content types, site pages, workflows, and governance policies. Collaborate with stakeholders to define high-level solutions and align them with corporate strategies. Implement UI designs in collaboration with communication teams, ensuring compliance with usability and functional standards. Conduct system usage monitoring, security audits, and produce reports. Train staff and act as the primary contact for SharePoint-related queries. Document and maintain procedural and technical documentation. Development & Technical Tasks Design, develop, and implement mission-critical applications using SharePoint Products, .NET Framework, and SQL technology stack. Develop custom SharePoint functionalities using PowerShell, web services, and Microsoft Power Platform. Implement workflows, approvals, alerts, and dashboards. Manage and migrate custom-developed solutions from SharePoint 2013 On-Premise to SharePoint Online. Ensure compliance with client expectations and security standards through testing and maintenance. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for custom applications. Additional Contributions Analyze user requirements and prepare technical designs and specifications. Advise and review the work of other developers as needed. Leverage ITIL practices and agile methodologies, including sprint and Kanban planning. Qualifications Education A Master’s degree or equivalent (minimum 4 years of relevant education post-secondary school). Experience At least 4 years of IT professional experience, including web site management, web page design, and SharePoint development. Minimum 2 years of SharePoint development experience and 1 year of architectural design on enterprise implementations. Experience in Microsoft administration on Windows operating systems and .NET development. Technical Skills Proficient in SharePoint 2013 On-Premise, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Power Platform. Advanced knowledge of .NET, C#, SQL Server, PowerShell scripting, and JavaScript frameworks. Experience with SharePoint Designer workflows, SPFx, and integration tools like Azure Active Directory. Skilled in web design tools, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with ITIL processes and agile frameworks (Kanban, Scrum). Certifications Microsoft SharePoint certification or equivalent experience is preferred. Security Requirements Must provide a recent criminal record certificate (not older than 30 days). Submit a copy of a national ID/passport before starting work. Sign confidentiality and non-conflict of interest declarations.
