Business Analyst – Core Banking (Transact) Contract Type: 12-Month Contract (flexible Fixed Term or Day Rates) Location: Paris (1-2 days a week onsite) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading banking institution and support key projects within the back-office and accounting domain. This role focuses on critical initiatives, including the roll-over of money market deposits and Invest-EU program transactions and portfolio guarantee management. The bank’s portfolio includes FX, IRS, CCY IRS, Repos, Bonds (including issues), loans, and deposits. The core banking system used is Transact R23 from Temenos , interfaced with risk systems from Moody’s (RCO ALM, RO, RAY, RCIMP), proprietary in-house risk tools, and Bloomberg for valuations. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal teams and T24 developers on configuration, development, and testing tasks. Formalise business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and prepare functional specifications. Perform testing, documentation, and support implementation of good practices. Contribute to the successful management of financial instruments, including FX, IRS, Repos, and Bonds. Liaise with stakeholders to promote structured project management approaches and methodologies. What We’re Looking For: Experience: At least 5 years in back-office and/or accounting functionality within the banking sector. Technical Expertise: Familiarity with systems like Transact, Cappitech, or TCS BaNCS is highly desirable. Project Skills: Proficiency in formalising business requirements, impact analysis, testing, and documentation. Language Skills: Fluency in English is mandatory; French is a strong advantage.
