Mainframe Developer

Analyze user needs and design suitable technical solutions. Development: Develop, test and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL/DB2. Taking into account feedback from QA: Rectification of anomaly and redelivery Delivery in different environmentsCollaborate with offshore and onshore teams to ensure project continuity. Write and maintain technical documentation. Ensure code quality and compliance with development standards. Production of application documentation Update of existing documentation Creation of new documentation if new component or new chain The presentation document to the CVT (if CT Required) Operating document if creation, modification of JCL : Addition of programme, File, Jacq Card, retention duration. Instruction Sheet: SOP doc in the event of a Batch Relaunch. Update of the Reference documentation (parameter table) jointly with the DA. Physical Data Model for DB2 Table modifications and creation in conjunction with DA (via CVT). Minutes of meetings with the business (for functional designers) The activities below will be carried out following the methodological framework below : Participation in Agile rituals (Daily, retro, etc.) Participation in New Engineering Practices (3 amigos, pair testing,etc.Application development experience in Design, coding, testing and debugging with Mainframe skills such as COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, ensuring quality of deliverables.- Working experience in Agile projects- Fluency in French and English- Working experience with Offshore team.COBOL, DB2, SQL, CICS , Expert Mainframe Developer. Good understanding of Insurance Domain Background.
