Role Overview As a Business Development Representative (BDR) , you'll focus on outbound prospecting, engaging with potential clients, and booking discovery meetings to introduce them to the value of ChatLabs. Reporting directly to the VP Sales & co-founder, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape our outreach strategies and contribute to our rapid expansion in Europe. This role is ideal for an ambitious and goal-driven professional eager to make an impact in a fast-paced startup environment. Location Based in Paris (Station F). Some remote flexibility Key Responsibilities Meeting Targets : Achieve a weekly target of scheduling 5 qualified discovery meetings with prospective clients. Prospecting : Identify and reach out to potential clients within the marketing, ecommerce, and media industries. Research & Personalization : Conduct thorough research to personalize outreach efforts and craft compelling messaging. Outreach Strategy : Utilize email, LinkedIn, and other channels to engage prospects and generate interest in ChatLabs. CRM Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of outreach activities and pipeline progress in CRM tools like Pipedrive. Collaboration : Work closely with the co-founder and sales team to optimize strategies and ensure seamless handoffs of qualified leads. Market Insights : Stay informed about trends in social media marketing, e-commerce, and enterprise software to tailor your approach. What We're Looking For A self-starter with 1-3 years of BDR or SDR experience , ideally in B2B SaaS. Proven track record of exceeding weekly or monthly meeting quotas. Experience engaging with marketing, media, or e-commerce professionals is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a knack for building rapport. Comfortable with CRM and outreach tools like Pipedrive, Lemlist, or similar platforms. Based in or willing to relocate to the New York metropolitan area. A growth mindset with the drive to learn and contribute to a dynamic team. What Success Looks Like Consistently schedule 5 qualified discovery meetings per week with potential clients. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads to support the sales team. Proactively source 25% of your pipeline through personalized outreach efforts. Collaborate effectively with the sales team to transition prospects into the sales funnel. Contribute to team success by sharing insights and strategies that improve outreach effectiveness.
