The role combines the excitement of expanding business horizons with the fulfilment of supporting a network of resellers and end-users.About the RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of expanding market presence and building strong relationships with resellers and end-users. Collaborating with an international team, you will leverage cutting-edge technology and market insights to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets.Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focusing on education (90%) and corporate (10%) sectors.- Build and manage a network of resellers, acting as their primary point of contact.- Identify, train, motivate, and support resellers to grow their sales.- Hunt for new business opportunities and maintain a focus on expanding the sales funnel.- Analyse competition and recommend strategies to gain market share.- Process and share relevant market and customer insights across the organisation.- Collaborate with Product Development and Marketing teams to align product offerings with customer needs.- Represent the company at trade shows and other awareness-building activities.- Deliver impactful product demonstrations to engage and convince your audience.- Work closely with helpful colleagues and utilise a hands-on approach to achieve your revenue and growth objectives.What’s Required- A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a commercial direction).- At least 5 years of experience in a competitive B2B environment, ideally in the education sector.- Familiarity with channel B2B structures, preferably in IT, AV products, or the display industry.- Strong communication and negotiation skills.- Proven ability to work independently in a territory with remote support.- Willingness to travel frequently within the region.- A proactive, results-driven mindset with a customer-first attitude.- Hands-on mentality, entrepreneurial spirit, and structured approach to work.- A strong network in the Northern UK.- The ability to quickly understand and adapt to new technologies.What’s on Offer- A fully remote working setup within an informal and motivated team environment.- Attractive terms of employment, including a competitive salary, bonus plan, company car, pension contribution, and healthcare plan.- A varied and challenging position in an organisation defined by growth and innovation.- Opportunities to develop your talents and shape this role according to your strengths.- A collaborative culture focused on achieving results with no unnecessary meetings.Why Join?This is a chance to be part of a company that’s leading the way in technology and innovation.
