Logistics Manager

Our client in the logistics and supply chain sector is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to join their team in Kempton Park. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to lead operations, optimize processes, and ensure seamless logistics management within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, manage, and oversee logistics operations, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet organizational goals. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety standards related to logistics and supply chain activities. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement. Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics team to achieve departmental objectives. Collaborate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. Manage budgets and forecasts for logistics operations. Resolve logistical challenges and ensure customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proven track record of optimizing logistics operations and improving efficiency. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in logistics software and tools. Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the logistics industry.
