Sales Engineer

Position: Sales Engineer Industry: Engineering Location: Midrand Salary: Market related Purpose of the position: The Sales Engineer will expand strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth in the construction, consulting, and IPP fields in the South African market. Seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer, to apply technical expertise to drive sales and marketing initiatives across these sectors. The emphasis will be on selling technical products (e.g. valves) and services, explaining highly complex technical information to customers and clients, and focusing on revealing how a product or piece of equipment can solve specific problems. Qualifications & Experience: Relevant Technical qualification, national Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation. Experience selling electrical, mechanical and instrumentation equipment to mines, municipalities and construction companies. Fluent spoken and written English French an advantage Working in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, work independently and well in a team, and perform under pressure. Proven sales track record.
