Job Description
MAIN ROLE The Instrumentation Equipment Specialist is responsible for managing and conducting studies related to instrumentation equipment as part of the project assigned. The specialist must ensure the technical quality, presentation, and content of the documents produced, in compliance with established standards and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Studies: Conduct technical studies for the selection and specification of instrumentation equipment, including valves and safety valves. Compliance: Ensure that the studies comply with applicable codes and standards (API, IEC, ISA, ASME, etc.). Quality Documentation: Produce high-quality technical documents in terms of content, presentation, and readability. Adherence to Rules: Follow project rules, best practices, and Quality Assurance procedures. JOB REQUIREMENTS Knowledge & Experience Equipment Expertise: Proficiency in the specifications of instrumentation equipment, especially valves and safety valves. Standards Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as API, IEC, ISA, ASME. Software Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Smart Plant Instrumentation: Knowledge and experience with Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) software. Skills & Abilities Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and technical skills to conduct detailed studies and precise specifications. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for document drafting and team collaboration. Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
