PRIVATE EQUITY ANALYST – Paris Full-time position Context Based in Paris and San Francisco, Lauxera Capital Partners is a private equity firm investing in “healthtech” (medtech, pharma innovation, software and data services) in Europe and North America. Lauxera seeks to pick the best companies and management teams in growth and buyout situations across the innovation spectrum in healthcare. Lauxera is currently managing more than €600m of AuM and starting to invest its second fund and accelerating its recruitment efforts accordingly. An annual rotation in San Francisco is offered as part of its Analyst program. The Analyst will be part of our global investment team and will be directly reporting to the Partners. The candidate will be fully involved in each phase of the investment journey: from deal screening and sourcing to transaction execution and portfolio monitoring: Deal Screening & Sourcing: pro-active screening of potential investments across Europe and North America in pre-identified verticals (e.g., innovative medtech, software and data analytics, pharma services, life science tools and reagents) including attendance to industry fairs and trade shows, screening of companies, development a network of entrepreneurs and operators, forming a view on value chain and competitive dynamics, etc. Due Diligence: work with the team on advancing and completing business due diligence to assess differentiation, sustainability of competitive positioning, market and competitive dynamics, financial profile and defensibility. Deal Execution : financial modelling, attendance meetings with target companies, management of external advisors and partners, preparation of investment committee materials, investment committee attendance, etc. Portfolio Monitoring: supporting the deal team in the monitoring of portfolio companies, board meeting preparation and attendance, screening for M&A add-ons etc. Contribution to Lauxera corporate workflows: ad-hoc support on a wide array of corporate workflows spanning from fundraising to organizing team events and communication, preparing deal flow tracking sheets, assistance in preparing fund events (offsites, AGM, etc.). Candidate Profile At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, M&A, Leveraged Finance or Strategy consulting, ideally with some exposure to healthcare transactions Excellent analytical and technical skills Strong financial knowledge Strong communication and interpersonal skills Clear passion about healthcare investing & overall industry Entrepreneurial, hardworking and business development mindset Autonomy and multi-tasking Full proficiency in English Location : Paris with annual rotation to San Francisco Apply : Send application (CV & Cover Letter) to contactlauxera.com Industry Financial Services Employment Type Full-time
