Job Description

DevOps Engineer - Long term freelance contract - Onsite in Strasbourg, France Candidates must be eligible for EU Security Clearance. About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer to join one of our leading clients in Strasbourg, France. You will play a critical role in our software delivery pipeline, focusing on automating and optimizing the build, deployment, and release processes. Key Responsibilities: Source Code Management: Import source code from external providers, verify successful pushes to GitHub/Jenkins, and orchestrate these processes using Ansible Tower. Build & Verification: Build and deploy microservices, ensuring smooth pipeline execution. Analyse SonarQube and Fortify SCA results for security and quality assurance. Deployment Packaging & Execution: Generate deployment packages using Ansible Tower, import them into the target environment, and verify successful deployment of Helm Charts, containers, etc. Testing & Validation: Execute deployments, verify successful deployment before the testing phase, and set up a testing laboratory using ChaosKit (Kraken). Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in the improvement of deployment processes and workflows. Required Skills: Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of infrastructure, specifically OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker. Proven experience with the a few of following technologies: GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Buildah, Ansible Tower, JFrog, SonarQube, Fortify SCA, Helm Charts, Linux, Kraken.
