Senior Front End Developer

In this role, you’ll help build and optimise high-performance, user-friendly web applications used in the energy sector. What You’ll Do: Lead Front-End Development: You will design and develop scalable, reusable Angular-based applications, ensuring they deliver a seamless user experience for complex energy trading systems. UI/UX Optimization: Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to create intuitive, responsive interfaces. You’ll ensure applications handle large datasets efficiently while maintaining usability. Back-End Integration: Work with back-end developers to integrate APIs and data services, ensuring seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems. Testing & Code Quality: Implement unit and integration tests to ensure robust applications. Enforce coding standards and maintain code quality through code reviews and refactoring. Mentorship: Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices and ensuring they grow in their roles. Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to continuously improve our development processes. What We’re Looking For: 5 years of front-end development experience , with a strong focus on Angular and UI/UX design . Proficiency in TypeScript , JavaScript , HTML5 , CSS3 , and SCSS . Strong understanding of object-oriented design and front-end best practices. Experience with RxJS , NgRx , or similar state management libraries. Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jasmine , Karma , or Protractor . Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team. Passion for mentoring junior developers. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Why Energy One?
