Job Description

As a global leader in satellite communications, we provide infinite connectivity, broadcasting television channels and packages, transmitting news reports, provide wholesale broadband Internet access services. Responsibilities: Design and oversee the architecture of communication systems focusing on achieving optimal performance, reliability, and scalability. Develop detailed specifications for satellite communication payloads, incorporating next-generation standards such as 5G and DVB-S2X, as well as enabling high-speed data transfer through optical inter-satellite connections. Conduct performance simulations and optimization analyses considering factors like coverage, capacity, latency, and network availability. Collaborate with teams working on ground segment and network architecture to ensure seamless interoperability across the entire satellite system. Perform link budget assessments, frequency management, and interference evaluations to guide system-wide performance improvements. Evaluate and select advanced payload technologies, such as regenerative processors, active antennas, and optical inter-satellite links, for integration into the space segment. Manage technical relationships with vendors and manufacturers, participating in design reviews and ensuring adherence to performance standards. Represent the organization in design reviews, industry conferences, and workshops to uphold and enhance system performance and innovation standards. Qualifications: An advanced degree in Engineering, specializing in Aerospace, Telecommunications, Electronics, Antenna, or Communications Systems, with expertise in satellite systems or similar fields. Over a decade of experience in satellite systems architecture, particularly with constellations or other complex systems. Demonstrated knowledge of end-to-end satellite system design, including payload structures, link budgeting, frequency planning, and system integration. Proficiency in simulation and performance modeling tools like STK, MATLAB, or Python, with an emphasis on LEO constellation analysis. Deep understanding of RF principles, communication theories, modulation, coding, and interference mitigation techniques. Experience in multi-satellite dynamics, orbit analysis, and satellite network optimization. Knowledge of integrating space and ground systems, including coordination with ground stations, network operations, and telemetry, tracking, and control (TT&C). Strong communication skills, capable of explaining intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally for technical meetings and vendor engagements.
