Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Risk Manager to develop and lead our risk management function. The ideal candidate, reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance at QSRP, will play a key role in creating and implementing robust risk management processes, identifying potential risks, and ensuring QSRP company’s and its local entities financial stability and compliance with international regulations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Risk Management Framework: Create and establish a comprehensive risk management framework tailored to the company’s financial operations. Define risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring they are inclusive and accessible to all stakeholders. Identify and Assess Financial Risks: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential financial risks, including market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks. Develop risk assessment models and tools to evaluate and quantify risks. Monitor and Report on Risk Exposure: Continuously monitor the company’s risk exposure and provide regular reports to senior management. Develop key risk indicators (KRIs) and dashboards for real-time risk monitoring, ensuring they are understandable and actionable for all teams. Implement Risk Mitigation Strategies: Design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and controls to minimize the impact of identified risks. Collaborate with various departments to integrate risk management practices into business processes, ensuring all voices and perspectives are considered. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with international financial (and other relevant) regulations and standards. Liaise with regulatory bo dies and external auditors as necessary, maintaining transparency and inclusivity. Leadership and Training: Support Senior Management on risk management decisions and plans, contributing to a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility. Develop and deliver risk management training programs to enhance the risk awareness culture across the organization, ensuring they are accessible to all employees. Crisis Management: Develop and maintain crisis management plans to respond to financial emergencies and unexpected risk events. Coordinate with global teams to ensure effective crisis response and recovery, with a focus on equity and fairness. As an individual you have: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, PRM, or equivalent are highly desirable Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, particularly in an international environment. We value diverse experiences, in particular those in different industries especially in production industries and/or emerging markets. Proven track record in developing and implementing risk management frameworks and processes. Strong knowledge of international financial regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Leadership and influencing skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach. Strong communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in risk management software and tools. Experience in Internal Audit and setting up risk management functions is a plus. Experience in the retail and food industry is a plus but not essential.
