Intrisic Safety Electronics Engineer

The contract is an Electronics Engineering opportunity to work on hybrid 6-month initial OUTSIDE IR35 basis supporting with the Intrinsic Safety of the companies life saving device product range. You will need to limit the energy stored in the product as it goes through the certification process and ensure it has the necessary safety considerations throughout the design factored in from the ground up. The client are looking for an Engineer who has previous experience with designing products or overseeing intrinsic safety implementations of development including input to critical components lists. The key is to have experience in design implementation for EMC and safety. They do not want someone to simply put the electronics into an IS approved enclosure, you need to help with the lifecycle design upwards. The client can accommodate hybrid working and are reviewing CVs during a meeting on the 9th Jan.
