Our client a well-established Fit Out Contractor with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry is looking for a Senior Estimator. Senior Estimator An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estimator to join a leading construction company known for delivering innovative solutions in the interior fit-out sector. This role offers the chance to work on prestigious projects and contribute to the success of a dynamic and forward-thinking organization. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate tenders for large-scale and bespoke projects, ensuring profitability and competitiveness. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to assess costs and identify opportunities for value engineering. Collaborate with internal teams, including design, project management, and procurement, to develop comprehensive cost strategies. Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, negotiating favorable terms where needed. Present cost analyses and tender proposals to senior stakeholders. Maintain and enhance estimating tools, databases, and processes.Requirements: Proven experience in construction estimating, ideally within the fit-out sector Strong numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Knowledge of construction contracts, methods, and industry standards. Proficiency in estimating software and the MS Office Suite. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
