Data Centre Shift Technician

My Client, A leading Data Centre provider is currently looking for a Shift Technician to join an existing team within one of their operational Data Centres based in Slough. Due to exponential growth witnessed in the industry the client is looking to build out there current team with a view to internal promotions. The role is a continental shift pattern where you will be responsible for the buildings’ Electrical and Mechanical systems, both from a preventative and reactive maintenance perspective; change management and incident management are also key elements of this role. This is a great opportunity for people with relevant experience looking for a new challenge as the client is looking to train up people with transferable skills, ideal for people from an electrical/ mechanical background across any relevant industry, especially service leavers. To be considered for this role you MUST have the following: Previous Electrical OR Mechanical training Excellent interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Some form of security clearance Right to work in the UK DESIREABLE: First Aid Experience Fire Marshal experience Knowledge of NICEIC certification and documenting requirements Risk Assessment understanding LVAP (can be trained) If you feel you are a good fit for this role please don't hesitate to apply.
