Railway Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a: Mechanical Design Engineer The candidate will specifically take care of the Mechanical Engineering design and integration of technical systems and will contribute by making mechanical engineering design and integration in the majority of the rail vehicles running in Switzerland. French is a must have. Responsibilities : Work in Bids and projects in the area of rail vehicles Perform mechanical engineering design (from concept to finalized design) Design technical systems to be integrated on rail vehicles Sample of tasks to be performed; mechanical drawings, integration design, BOM (bill of material), technical investigations, requirements management, Risk assessments, and Verification & Validation activities Part of the engineering work is to both talk to customers and different functions within the client Qualifications: Fluent French is a must have Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Minimum 8 years of experience Experience or understanding of 3D CAD design (Solidworks, Catia V5 or equivalent) Experience in rail sector Fluency in English Willingness to work 3 days on-site and 2 days remote Professionalism and motivation Location : Switzerland Type of job : Hybrid Years of experience : minimum 8 years.
