Our client, a prestigious and rapidly growing mid-market M&A advisory firm in Paris, renowned for executing high-profile transactions across various industries, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President (VP) – M&A Generalist to join their talented team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key leadership role in a firm with an impressive track record in advising clients on mergers, acquisitions, and strategic advisory services. Role Overview: As a VP in this M&A advisory firm, you will be at the forefront of executing and managing complex M&A deals. You will work closely with senior leadership and clients, leading deal teams, overseeing the execution of transactions, and providing strategic insights. This is an ideal position for a results-driven professional with a strong background in M&A, looking to take the next step in their career with a high-caliber team. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end M&A transactions from origination to execution. Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients on deal structures, valuation, and negotiation strategies. Develop financial models, conduct due diligence, and manage the preparation of pitch materials and presentations. Oversee and mentor junior team members, ensuring smooth execution of deals and effective project management. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, working closely with C-suite executives and business owners. Play an active role in business development, contributing to the firm's growth and client acquisition efforts. Coordinate with legal, tax, and other external advisors to ensure successful deal execution. Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of M&A advisory experience, ideally with a focus on mid-market transactions (both buy-side and sell-side). Skills: Strong financial modelling, valuation expertise, and deal execution capabilities. Leadership: Proven experience managing and mentoring teams while delivering high-quality results under pressure. Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus). Language: Fluency in English and French (both written and spoken) is essential. Attributes: Strong communicator, highly organized, detail-oriented, with a strategic mindset and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
