Cloud Engineer

Are you a Cloud Engineer with Azure and Kubernetes experience? If so we’d love to hear from you. We are currently recruiting for a Cloud Engineer to join a client of ours in Reading in a newly formed Cloud Infrastructure team. You will be supporting 24/7 public service systems and helping the company maintain and modernise all their Cloud services. The role: This role is an opportunity to work in a newly formed Cloud Infrastructure team supporting their Cloud Services previously managed by their development team. You will maintain and manage a selection of critical public systems using Azure, Kubernetes, PowerShell scripting and Terraform. You will be responsible for: Cloud Infrastructure and Kubernetes Management Azure Security and Identity Management Monitoring, Backup and Diagnostics Automation and Scripting DevOps and CI/CD Tools Cost Management Problem-solving and Incident Management Documentation and Knowledge Sharing Compliance and Governance Out-of-Hours Support Benefits and Salary: The salary on offer ranges from £65,000-£75,000 per annum with brilliant benefits including: Pension 5% employee, 10% employer Hybrid working between home and Reading office. 25 days holiday plus public holidays Private medical insurance 4 x salary life cover 24/7 GP consultations, counselling, legal and financial advice and a range of discounts available.
