The Client is an exciting, dynamic, small/medium-sized Fintech business, looking for a talented software engineer to be part of the development of this fast-growing organisation. The successful candidate will benefit from working among an experienced team that will offer guidance to develop in this technical role The QA Software engineer role includes C++/Python software development on Linux OS, definition and implementation of test cases, and interaction with leading trading technologies. Primary Responsibilities Analyse, define, and implement test cases to ensure thorough tests of our products To become an expert in low-latency, high-performance software and hardware products Exposure to pre-sales technical support Contribute to the development of automated test tools, and continually improve the quality of releases on the full range of the company’s comprehensive technical portfolio Skills, Experience & Personal Qualities Essential Fluent in English (written and spoken) Good written and verbal communication skills Degree in computer science Linux command-line experience Motivated and keen to learn Desirable Experience in C++ programming and scripting language (ideally Python) Experience in QA and automation Networking concepts, monitoring and troubleshooting Experience with Git or similar SCM tool Knowledge of financial trading infrastructures and applications
