Job Title: Cloud Engineer Location: Reading Salary: £60,000-£75,000 Peaple Talent have recently partnered with a Data Infrastructure business, their cutting edge data marketplace and knowledge graph technology empower smarter decisions, improve productivity, and drive sustainability. Due to ongoing growth they are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join the team and play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising their infrastructure. The Role: Optimise cloud environments for reliability and performance while implementing automation. Manage tickets, resolve incidents, and assist with data processing requests. Implement backup solutions and participate in recovery testing. Maintain detailed records of systems, configurations, and processes. The Candidate: Experience in managing cloud environments (Azure), including Kubernetes and Docker for app deployment. Azure core services & concepts (compute, networking, storage, database management) including PaaS and Serverless (e.g. Apps Services/Azure functions) Scripting for task automation (e.g. PowerShell, Azure CLI) Containerisation and orchestration (Kubernetes) The Package: Base salary: £60,000-£75,000 25 days holiday Private Medical Insurance Health Shield Cash Plan Life cover Interested?
