GCP Data Architect

GCP Data Architect: GCP, BigQuery, Data Lake, Pub/Sub A leading Tech Consultancy is seeking a GCP Data Architect for an upcoming large-scale migration to GCP. As the Data Consultant, you will play an integral role in mapping out and defining the GCP Data Architecture for a large-scale digitisation programme, including the design and development of a GCP Data Lake. This role requires deep technical knowledge of GCP, including technologies such as Dataflow, BigQuery, and Data Fusion. This is a consultant-focused role, so you should have the ability to strategize and define cloud strategy, with the capability to lead a team of engineers through to implementation. This is an Outside IR35 contract with a range of £650 - £750 per day, with 2/3 days a week in the London office. Responsibilities: Provide technical delivery and consultancy to the end client Forge strong relationships across the business Design and implement scalable data architecture solutions Lead and mentor a team of data engineers Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards Requirements: GCP experience, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Data Lake Demonstrated experience developing GCP frameworks for large-scale migration programmes Coding knowledge in Python is beneficial Experienced in data models and data platform design development Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage client and team target goals GCP Data Architect: GCP, BigQuery, Data Lake, Pub/Sub
