About the Role: Our client is seeking a talented Contract Developer with extensive experience in either the betting or trading sectors to design and implement advanced trading bots that drive their strategies. Working closely with the founding team, you’ll create innovative solutions independently of their core platform, with the freedom to choose your preferred technologies. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a focused, collaborative environment and enjoys the challenge of delivering high-impact results. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deploy scalable, high-performance trading bots tailored to sports trading markets. Collaborate directly with senior stakeholders to design and refine trading strategies. Integrate with third-party APIs, with a focus on exposure to the Betfair API, to support high-frequency trading operations. Maintain a hands-on approach to development with minimal interaction with the wider engineering team. What They’re Looking For: Proven experience developing scalable trading systems or bots. Extensive experience in the betting or trading sectors is essential. Strong coding skills in your preferred language (independent of their legacy platform). Familiarity with trading APIs, particularly experience with the Betfair API , is highly desirable. A self-motivated individual with a problem-solving mindset.
