What the Job Involves The Repairs Supervisor role involves leading a team of repair operatives to ensure superior work quality and efficient material use. You will manage complex diagnostics and oversee multi-trade projects, such as extensive leak repairs affecting multiple properties. Responsibilities include conducting toolbox talks, one-on-one sessions with operatives, and inspecting tenanted properties. You'll manage void teams to ensure timely delivery and attend evening tenant association meetings to realign services with customer needs. Ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations in all activities, including inspection tasks and emergency call-outs, is crucial. The role requires proficiency with IT hardware and software, including mobile technology, to support modern operations. Additionally, you'll manage a Council-supplied van and fuel, ensuring secure and efficient transport and storage of materials and tools. Certification of an Enhanced DBS check is a requirement, and flexibility is necessary to meet community needs and provide emergent responses as required.
