Associate Interior Designer (Commercial Workplace Design) €70,000 - €90,000p.a. Paris | Office based REVIT proficiency a must . Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Associate Interior Designer to join our client's team in Paris. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design process from concept through completion, managing a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of quality, innovation, and sustainability. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and consultants to deliver functional, aesthetically pleasing workspaces that reflect our clients’ brands and aspirations. Proficiency in Revit is a requirement for this position. Key Responsibilities: Lead Design Projects: Manage all phases of the design process, from initial concept development to final delivery, ensuring projects align with client objectives, budget, and timelines. Client Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships to understand their vision and needs. Present design concepts and ideas in a clear and compelling manner. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior designers and other team members, ensuring collaboration, creativity, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Revit Expertise: Utilize Revit to develop comprehensive design solutions, including 3D models, detailed layouts, construction documents, and visual presentations. Ensure that all Revit models are accurate and in line with project goals. Space Planning & Conceptual Design: Develop innovative space plans and conceptual designs that meet the functional and aesthetic needs of each client. Translate abstract ideas into creative and practical design solutions. Material Selection & Detailing: Oversee the selection of finishes, materials, and furnishings, ensuring that they align with the overall design intent and project sustainability goals. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of all design elements. Sustainability Focus: Incorporate sustainable design principles and innovative technologies into every project, ensuring environmental impact is minimized. Project Management: Assist in project management tasks, including preparing project schedules, budgets, and progress reports. Monitor project deliverables and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Quality Control: Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure design accuracy and adherence to company standards. Business Development Support: Participate in business development activities such as pitches and client meetings. Assist with RFP responses, proposals, and the development of new client relationships. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing large-scale commercial and workplace projects. Revit Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Revit is essential. Knowledge of other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is also highly desirable. Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading design teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Client-Focused: Strong ability to understand client needs, communicate effectively, and deliver design solutions that exceed expectations. Creative Vision: A deep passion for design, with a strong sense of aesthetics, creativity, and innovation. Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of building codes, construction methods, materials, and project documentation. Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills. Ability to present and pitch ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project challenges and deliver successful outcomes. Fluent in French: Professional fluency in both French is required. Sustainability: Knowledge of sustainable design practices and relevant certification programs is a plus.
