Location: London or Bradford.Occasional travel to other offices may be required. Working Pattern: Hybridtypically 1 day a week in the office. You will identify, assess, document, escalate and report the key risks associated with the function and ensure appropriate control within governance and risk frameworks aligned to best practice and regulatory obligations. Support the delivery of analytical / data driven projects Contribute to the workflow or process changes and form an understanding of different products and processes Gather and define the requirements for creating insights and delivering it as a coherent story to management Utilise knowledge and commercial awareness to provide support and oversight on credit reporting, ensuring the process is fully documented Define requirements for data infrastructure to support business reporting needs Support the creation of regular management information reports Develop visual reports, KPIs and dashboards using the available platforms (Power BI / Excel) Knowledge and expertise: Exceptional quantitative skills, with exposure to credit analytics Understanding of consumer credit, preferably in the sub prime or online lending sector Understanding of corporate governance frameworks Proven ability to plan and organise work effectively and prioritise deadlines whilst working at pace What will make you stand out: Ability to present complex problems Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and constructively challenge Ability to operate independently and objectively Clear, logical and analytical approach to problem solving. Attention to detail / accuracy focussed Degree or equivalent experience in a highly numerate and analytical subject Demonstratable experience of data, reporting and analytics within a Credit risk or similar team The interview process: Up to 30minute telephone call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team Up to 60 mins with the hiring team Competency based Final interview with Head of Credit Risk Offers are subject to satisfactory background checks, including credit, fraud, and employment references.
