Category Manager

As the Category Manager, you will support the Senior Procurement Manager and develop procurement best practice across all of the company. You will also work towards strengthening the administration and management of our registers and assist with the coordination of supplier tenders and reviews. Major objectives To contribute to the success of the procurement team by: Management of a specific group of products/ services within us Oversee the planning, tendering, on/off boarding of suppliers Complete annual due diligence of our suppliers to ensure the suppliers continue to meet our prerequisites of financial viability & adhering to policies & administration of relevant insurance levels Recommendation of consolidation/deconsolidation of suppliers Deliver continuous improvement of supplier management by adapting to business needs & best practise Deliver long term value to us What are we looking for? Knowledge in contracting and stakeholder management Knowledge of best practice in procurement Contract Management Skills Knowledge of Procurement Software and decentralised procurement Ability to deal with a large volume of data and complex business scenarios Excellent attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build effective relationships both internally and with suppliers What are the benefits?
