To ensure the financial health and operational efficiency of our club, we are seeking a strategic and experienced Finance Director to oversee and manage our financial operations. ROLE OVERVIEW: The Finance Director is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic management of the club’s financial operations. You will oversee the financial planning, budgeting, reporting and analysis to ensure the club's financial stability and growth. Working closely with the executive team, you will develop financial strategies that align with the club’s overall vision and objectives, providing insightful financial guidance and supporting decision making processes. As the Finance Director, you will embody the financial acumen and strategic vision of our prestigious club. With extensive experience in financial management and a deep understanding of luxury and hospitality environments, you will lead the finance team to ensure the club’s financial health and operational excellence. Your expertise in financial planning, analysis and reporting will be crucial in supporting the club’s success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement financial strategies and plans that support the club’s goals and objectives, ensuring long-term financial stability and growth. Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets, forecasting and financial projections, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare and present regular financial reports including, income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements to the executive team and board of directors. Identify financial risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to mitigate risks and optimise financial performance. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including board members and investors to ensure alignment on financial goals, deliverables and business strategy. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies, including overseeing audits and managing relationships with external auditors. Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency, implementing strategies to optimise cash reserves. Lead and mentor the finance team, setting clear performance goals, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making and business development initiatives. Continuously assess and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy and reporting capabilities. REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably within a luxury or high-end environment. Experience in hospitality or club management is advantageous. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a finance team effectively, promoting a high-performance culture. Extensive knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, reporting and analysis, with a track record of driving financial success and stability. Ability to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the club’s goals and support long-term growth. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. Proficiency in financial management software, accounting systems, and Microsoft Office. A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is required. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
