Job Description

Sales Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue growth across domestic and international markets. Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing sales. Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the business. Marketing and Brand Management: Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to promote the abattoirs products and services. Develop digital marketing strategies, including social media, online advertising, and content creation to increase brand awareness. Work closely with internal teams to ensure that marketing efforts align with product offerings and market trends. Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to stay ahead of trends and adapt strategies accordingly. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders. Provide customer service excellence by ensuring the timely resolution of queries, complaints, and requests. Gather customer feedback and insights to improve products and services. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Prepare sales forecasts and marketing budgets to guide business decisions. Track and report on sales performance, campaign results, and marketing effectiveness. Analyze market data and consumer trends to identify opportunities for growth. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and motivate a team of sales and marketing professionals. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Collaboration with Operations: Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices. Educational Qualifications Bachelors Degree in one of the following fields: Marketing Business Administration Agricultural Economics Food Science/Technology (with a marketing focus) Animal Science or a related discipline (advantageous if combined with marketing expertise) Postgraduate Degree or Diploma (preferred but not mandatory): Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Specialization in Agribusiness or Supply Chain Management Professional Experience Industry-Specific Experience Minimum of 35 years of experience in marketing within the meat, agriculture, or food-processing industry. Knowledge of meat production, supply chains, and distribution networks is a strong advantage. Proven Track Record Experience in managing successful marketing campaigns in B2B or B2C environments. Demonstrated ability to grow brand visibility, increase sales, and penetrate new markets. Familiarity with Compliance Knowledge of local and international food safety standards, abattoir regulations, and certifications (e.g., HACCP, ISO standards).
